To get it to switch to the other scanning method, I have to close the software and re-open it. Likewise if the first document is on the flatbed, then I don’t care how many times I trigger that switch, it only scans from the flatbed. If the first document I scan is with the ADF that’s all it will look for from then on. Now, I can load the software but it will not switch back and forth between the ADF and the flatbed. Easy to set up, fast printing, scan and copy work great. For basic scanning the included software is great.
